didn't go down till noon, I started to cut the lawn but ther mower broke so went out and helped Frank piut in his school garden and I also sowed my experimental plots Union plots of cabbage, kale & rape, and didn;t get through till half past twelve, then we cam ein and got dressed up and intended to go for a swim at the sgump but beofre we left we heard the svhool bell ringing so hurried down thinking we wouldbe late, they didn;t begin for quite a while however and then all there was to it was a lot of speeches and we were up tnere till about four o'clock.
