Sunday July 9th

Just as Dad. was getting ready for church this morning Alan Law came after him amd he had to go down there to administer unto a sick calf which diwed later in the day. I drove Enah and the baby down to xchurch and the baby didn't wamnt to sit alone in chirch without some of the family, I had to sit with him in the front seal and hold him on my knee most of the time but he was very good. Enah. stayed down to dinner at SAunty's amnd Dad. came dowen after he got home from the Law's. Frabk and I had dinner alone. About three o'clock I went down to Aunty's nd left Frank asleep on the sofa. Huby was there and he Dad. Walter, Roy and I walked up to his place via the Dominion Hotel and Dave Waddle's in search of Dave but didn;t find him, after inspoecting Huby's garden and Bill Slocomb's buggy which Dad. thinks has been run considerably, we took a walk down to the Cuastoms House stoppingn in to see Mr. Smith fir a few minutes on our way down. While we were down there Dave Waddle came along with Geo. Faulmsbe and Jack Davis. We went back to the house all of us but Huby and I stayed
