Thursday July 27th

Frank rake dup the alsike this morning. We were late getting sround as we were delayed by one of the ram lambs we found him when we went out frothing at the mouth and bloated. Dad. sshoved a long tube down his throat and that took the bloat down. When i did get out this moirning I cut three oif my four plots of wheat wuth the sickle, it took me till noon as it was mostly grass and I didn;t want ot get anything but wheat if i could help Dad. hleped me cut the fourth plot after dinner, we got a fair sized sheaf of each plot. We got the binder out this morning and Frank got one round cut on the wheat foeld before dinner, after dinner he 7 Dad. finished the field and got the binder back in the barn before tea. I had to back and put Snowdrop and John out of the Pickfords side ghill foield, they went through the culvert
