Enah soent most of the day icking bkackcurrants out in the old garden. Frank went down town after dinnewr and got the mail which contained an inbvitation for me to a party at Mrs. Hobbes this evening. This after noon we greased the awaggon and got in one load of alsike and put off over the granary in the old barn. Tonight I went down to Mrs. Hobbes and tried to play five hundred with Miss Prest, Miss {Name?} & Lewis Woodson. Ida, Miss Cowden, Miss Barn & Miss Buckwell and Geo. Clark were playing bridege. Douglas Skey came along in about ten o'clock and young Robinson a brother of Ellie's came in about midnight. Bessie Lawrie was also there. We weren't very late. Hot and dry but breezy.
