"City of Dover". From there we went up to Buck's park and played one piece there before tea. I had tea at Anty's and we spent the eveing playing in Orchard Beach park. Nothing very exciting happened to-day. There was rthe usual run of sports, a baby show on the band stand being ther only think a littleout of the ordinary. They had aboyt 30 babies enetered in it. Mrs. Percy Millman had hers there and asked me to hold it for her while which I did for awhile. Chris Quanbury's abby took 1st prize. It was jy=ust hoit enough to-day to bring the crowd in but not uncomfrotabke. I wernt ob=ver for a few minutes whiloe we were aiting for the car boat to see Alan & Dick Tinbits ansd Quint. Alan said they had had thie rbathing houses full up all the after noon. Quint only got his booth about half built and his ice cream didn't come but he seemed to be doing a good business selling soft drinks and cu=igarettes. Pete Holmes new casino opened to-day.
