Thursday April 28th

We put the rack on the waggon this morning and Frank and I went over to Tom & Mark's and got a small jag of straw. Dad. went over to John Wess's this morning and visited him till after noon. Frank and I put off the straw after dinner and then I finished raking up the lawn. Dad. helped me. To-night Marj. Frnak and I went down to a Dunday school meeitng to gove Sam Morris who is going to act a ssuperintendent some information Marj. and I then went to the concert which the Simcoe musical club put on for the benefoirt tof the Y.M.C.A. work. I had to play in the band during intermission and before the show started. There was a very small crowd but the concert was good espeically Zeitha's & Murray' Dillon's performances It has been a lovely day.
