would have to kill about half of them. He paid me for the old hens he got in July and for some eggs so I got a cheque for $83.1{4?}which I thought wasn't so bad. he gave me $1.20 apiece for the hens & 60 cts a dozen for ther eggs. I wernt on dowen town from there and got some chaors that Aunt Ida had oromised to Enah and which were at Aunty's. This after noon Dad. and I had to go and fix a piece of fence that had either blown down or been pushed down bwteen the gully & the new seeding on the wheat stubble and the cattle were all in there. We then took the waggon out and pile don all the loose corn stalks we could. Enah went down to the Cornish's for tea to-night and then on to choir practice.
