160 lbs & the other 166. It began to turn soft last night and this after noon was quite mild andvery cloudy and about tea time began to rain so that the pigs didn't et chilled out very well. Dad. & I carried them into the shop to-nigjt. Enah's sister Mrs Johnson came over for dinner to-day and staye dall the after noon and for tea. To-night she Marj. and I went down town Marj. ha dto go down and help the girls fill candy bags for the Sunday school Christamas tree, as tey were having a apratice in the Sunday schoolthey worked at Frances Slocombes and I wernt up with Mrs. Johnson and then went down to Aunty's wgere I went to sleep will Marj. came in and we cam ehome. It was a fierce nght for walking as the mud was awful but it was very mild. We made a great procession going down Marj. had he rflashlight an d was going ahead and showungMrs. jhnson the way while I brought up the rear with the Quanbury's boiler under my arm. It was pitch dark and when Mrs. Johnson went to step over the ditch in jack's field ashe slipped an dwent down on her hands & knees in the mud. I went in to the Quanbury's fir aminute. John has had a bad dy of it.
