160 lbs & the other 166. It began to turn soft last night and this after noon was quite mild and very cloudy and about tea time began to rain so that the pigs didn't get chilled out very well. Dad. & I carried them into the shop to-night. Enah's sister Mrs. Johnson came over for dinner to-day and stayed all the after noon and for tea. To-night she Marj. and I went down town. Marj. had to go down & help the girls fill candy bags for the Sunday school Christmas tree, as they were having a practice in the Sunday school they worked at Frances Slocomb's. I went up with Mrs. Johnson and then went down to Aunty's where I went to sleep till Marj. came in and we came home. It was a fierce night for walking as the mud was awful but it was very mild. We made a great procession going down. Marj. had her flashlight and was going ahead and showing Mrs. Johnson the way while I brought up the rear with the Quanbury's boiler under my arm. It was pitch dark and when Mrs. Johnson went to step over the ditch in Jack's field she slipped and went down on her hands & knees in the mud. I went in to the Quanbury's for a minute. John has had a bad day of it.
