We went down town and Marj. took Effie Davison a wedding present as She was marrying Jim Davidson the next Wednesday and they are both ex-pupils and favorites of Marj's. We called on the Pickford's on our way home. Monday 8th we cleaned up the shingles at the Sunday school, brought one load out here and the rest to the farm. (9th) Frank came out and we snaked the logs that were strewed around the gully into one place where they would be handy to load and got the four in Dave's place in a handy location and took two of them over home on the old waggon, got the other waggon there and went over to Charlie Butler's and got the log that had floated down into his gully and took the three of them to the mill. 10th I went over and asked Harvey Shand if I could borrow his low truck and logging bunks and got his permission to get my one log that drifted into his woods in the after noon we all went to town and Marj. went to a party at Bessie Patterson's in honor of Amy Turner who was married this last week to Parker.
