Sunday August 30th

It has been very hot and oppressive to-day and we have done very little but sit around. We just worked in two meals. I wemnt out to the garden this morning and oucked some ciucumbers and dug some potatoes while marj. was busy in the house. Late this after noon Haery B. and I walked over to see how poor old Mr. lampkon was feeling. He is still very stiff and sore but thought he was better
