waste so I picked a bushel or so off one tree and put them down cellar. I think they ar Colverts. This after noon I went up to Shoffs and got the time of the gravel teams for the last two weeks. I came back through town. I went down to band practice to-night. The band put in a tender to play at the Simcoe Fair but as they expected were turned down and Waterford has it for two days. Cloudy and cool.
Tuesday September 29th
I went over to the farm this morning but didn't get over very early as I had to fix up the fence again where Mary broke it down jumping it. We pulled a little more than what was pulled yesterday and took it down to the factory before dinner. Frank and I went down with it and had to wait for over an hour to get unloaded. It was three o'clock when we got out again after dinner but there was only half a roadway left so we pulled it. Tim came home from school this forenoon with a free ticket to the Fair so he and Dad. went up on the one o'clock car. I {to}ok Harry B over there with me. I drove Ina home {after} tea to-night. Cloudy with cold north east breeze.
