I went out this morning to examine the pumpkins and squash and as far as I can tell they are not injured I brought them up to the house after dinner in the waggon and Marj. 7 I carried them into the hkuse to-nigjht. I hooked up tje eam after dinner and went down and got a couple of parcels at the station that had come for Marj. from Eaton's. I also fgot ssome lumber to board up the back porch. It is marj's idea and she is footing the bill. Tim went down with me to watch the ghorses while I wa sin the station. It is milder to-night as the wind has gone down but it ios freezinf a little.
