Mr James Cameron Island

4th of April 1892 Fine Rained some sap not running very well Gathered 15 pails put out the Bun Leander on the water to the Marsh water high sawing stovewood snow Melting well Made a Leg for wood saw horse Fixed a peice to the Handle of the Mud-spear Fixed the Handle in the Rake E Wind Black Ducks came and swallows

5th E Wind changed to West some hail Fine Rained Thunder and Lightning sawing wood made Picquets Leander shot a Rat a very Large one seen a Plover Lots of Ducks and Wild Geese a strip opening Down to the sturgeon Island not very well But still Knocking around ice Jamming Before the House or opposite Wind high to night Rained

6th W Wind Ice Jamming and Going Down Boys Boiling 2 Gallons of syrup not running well shot a Duck at the Sturgeon Island seen 3 Men crofsing to the Kit Kit Drawing a Boat on the ice Hawks and Yellow hammers came and cranes The Heifer Jenny calved to night

7th Fine Gathered 20 pails to Day Leander Got Duck 2 EEls 1 pike taking the manure from the apple trees Lot of ice Jamming Going Down Loons came
