June 17 Humphrey Young plowed draged & furrowed out the corn ground I was not able to work went to Gananoque with Isabla took David horse got my coat paid Chesters $3.51 for making it
18 planted 1 bushel of western corn Ellen Jeanette & Isabla went to Delta with the horses they took David horse with them to paster there 1
19 planted 1/2 bushel of western corn that is 1 1/2 bushels all in the field below the house it is for the cows
20 drew dung to the pines spruces & ceadar that I planted along the lane
21 went to Marble Rock for a load of hemlock lumber for the roads broke the axle of the wagon had to leave the load near Cornet's cheas factory
22 went through the potatos corn & carrots in the garden in the forenoon put on part of the irons on the axle of the wagon in the afternoon
23 the Reverend Mr Robinson preached in the forenoon the Reverend Mr Wier in the afternoon warm day
24 finished the wagon & went for the lumber on the roads drew stones from Mr Thompson {illegible}
25 worked on the roads drawing gravel east of a Cornet's field
26 worked on the roads half the day with the horses that make 7 days work for us helped Isabla to pack her things in the afternoon
27 went to Brockville with Isabla things to get them sent to Nebraska got the {illegible} & tickets
28 drew rails from the midle fence of the midle field to put a fence at the foot of the corn to keep the cattle out
29 drew 13 loads of sand for Hugh McKay 220 bushels 2$20c lime 2.50 warm day
30 the Reverend Mr Weir preached in the school house this morning went at 2 o clock to the {illegible} Church {illegible} preach it dedicated to day
