May the woods look redto day 17 Vest got a load {rest of line illegible} to day he want {rest of line illegible} Ad got a telagram about {rest of line illegible} to Delta with Bruce McNiel Wallace helped with {illegible} all day sowed part of the old house field with the White see wheat worked the two teams cultivated with the wheel coulter first then with {rest of line illegible}
18 finished the old house field 4 1/2 bushel of the White See Wheat on it Vest & Ad got home at night
19 Ad & Vest went out to the road & finished what was to do there & began the southwest part of the north field sowed some peas there fine day
the wood begin to look green 20 worked in that field we sowed 8 bushel of peas & about a bushel of oats
21 21 I went with Revd Mr Walker to Fairfax he preached here in the morning Mr Mathews at night
22 rain this morning most of the day no work fixed the wheel of the cultivator there was very heavy rain yesterday morning
23 very cold this morning Vest & Ad the south west half of the north field I dug a little in the garden sowed some Beets & planted onion unions
24 they sowed 5 bushel of oats & 2 bushel of peas in the North west half of the north field & cultivated the part that he intends to summerfallow I was in bed most of the day
25 Vest went to Delta this afternoon he took Davids things & the children with him fine cold day I planted Halls beens in the garden next to the house
26 I planted 3 bushel of Eyrely rley Roses potatos in the garden
27 planted some sweet corn in the garden & 4 rows of parch corn Ad plowed East of the Barn he has been picking stones of yesterday & part of to day cold day ground dry
28 Revd Mr Walker preached in the morning Mr Stewart at night
29 planted 3 bushel Erely Roses potatos in the garden
30 Sowed about a pailfull & a half of Millet seed behind the Barn where Ad plowed & picked stones he draged & cultivated the ground there
