Wednesday, September 1, 1897 Fine in forenoon. Showery in afternoon. Helped W. Wiese finish thrashing.

Thursday, September 2, 1897 Fine. Helped A. J. Ripley thrash.

Friday, September 3, 1897 Fine day. Helped A. J. Ripley finish thrashing. I finished plowing and rolling for wheat.

Saturday, September 4, 1897 Fine. Helped L. Hays thrash in morning. Cultivating rest of day. We went up town at night.

Sunday, September 5, 1897 Fine. Went to church in the morning. Mr. & Mrs. Pearson came here. Mr. Pearson and I went to church in the evening.

Monday, September 6, 1897 Fine, warm. I harrowed all day. Mr. & Mrs. Pearson went home after dinner.
