6th Randolph's Birth Day 1867 Fine Putting in Wheat and oats thats 9 Loads of Wheat in to Day and 9 Loads of oats Leander to Jo Douquetts 2 Tubs of Butter 12 chickens 12 Doz of eggs

7th Sunday Gordon came him and Stanley to Dundee John H crofsed Sent of 6 EEls by Gordon

8th Cutting oats Binding oats some Drops of Rain Leander crofsed Bought in Summerstown a Sack of Salt Received From Bismarck his 2 Likenefs's and a Letter Rec a Bunch of Papers From Daisy Burton

9th very warm cutting the Back Field oats took up a Load thats 11 or 12 Loads of Wheat in the Barn Leander and John H crofsed to Summerstown

10th of August 1898 Fine cut the Last of the oats coiling some set some Fires to Brush went to Head of Island Leander to Jo Douquett with 24 chickens

11th very Fine Smoky with Fires cleared off Began a Stack of oats 11 Loads in it Began a Small one put 1 Load in to Day and another Load Gathering oats

12th Fine turned to high Wind Thunder Lightning Rained all night set some Fires

13h Windy Fine Cut the Pease John H got a Sturgeon Sent a Kansas Paper to Daisy in Maxville Leander to Jo Douquetts with 12 1/2 Doz of Eggs 1 Tub of Butter Heard Mike Purcell was Killed by the cars

14th Fine Johnny Min and Herbert Charlie Annie and Baby came Tom Jack D Spink and Gordon came and they went over to Frashers south side Brought 4 lbs of Black Currants

15th Began Mowing The Front Marsh set Fires Leander crofsed to Post Office Bough 5 lb of Muscovada 25 cents very Windy to night The Drudge came to Day Got Letter and Papers Magazines
