Croton October 1900

Wed. Oct 3: Clear and hot. I husked corn in the fore noon. Willie and I. H. were helping after noon. Willie went home. I dug potatoes in the after noon. Dick drew corn for part of the day. Latter part drew corn stalks.

Thu. Oct 4: Cloudy part of the day. I. H. S. and E.M. Dick drew corn stalks in the fore noon. after noon put up sale bills.

Fri. Oct 5: Clear and hot. I husked corn. Dick went for a load of calves in the fore noon. He brought after noon. Took D. W. and his son to get home and took a load of wood to Croton.

Sat. Oct 6: Clear and warm we husked corn most of the day. the rest of the time drew corn and potatoes to Croton.

Sun. Oct 7: Clear part of the day and warm.

Mon. Oct 8: Cloudy wet day. Raining much in before noon. after noon attended Black's.

Tue. Oct 9: Cloudy and soft rain most of the night. Dick went for a cow he bought of Samuel Barnes. not doing much yet.

Croton October 1900

Wed. Oct 3: Clear most of the day and pleasant in the fore noon. we cleaned up a goat after noon. I. H. took it to Wells. Dick helped Ira. Lee hush corn.

Thu. Oct 4: Clear a fair day. Had our sale today. Cattle sold well. I. M. T. and I. M. T. went to very low.

Sat. Oct 26: Clear most of the day and warm. I was settling up with those that bought at the sale yesterday.

Sat. Oct 27: Cloudy and cool. I dug potatoes. Dick picked apples for himself in the fore noon. after noon went to Shanesville.

Sun. Oct 28: Clear and warm.

Mon. Oct 29: Clear most of the day and warm. I was moving some of the household stuff to Croton this fore noon. after noon went to Florence with games. Clark came got the desk from S. and Clark for the house and lot in Croton.

Tue. Oct 30: Rain most of the day and night. not doing but packing up for moving.
