Croton April 1901

Fri Apr 12 th clear most of the day and warm I was triming pines and berry bushes on the old place this fore noon. not much in the after noon

Sat Apr 13 th cloudy and moderate I tried to were fence to stop hens from flying ove{ink smudged r}

Sun Apr 14 th cloudy and cool

Mon Apr 15 th clear and warm part of the day a light shower last night I went down to see Eliza Snary this after noon not ddoing much in the fore noon

Tue Apr 16 th clear and warm I was triming Walters apple trees in the fore noon. not doing much the rest of the day.

Wed Apr 17 th cloudy and warm. I went with Walter down to the old place to clean wheat in the fore noon after noon to Florence for chicken wire fence

Thu Apr 18 th rain and snow most of the fore noon. clear'd of this evening doing but little to day.

Fri Apr 19 th some clouds and cold, was putting up chicken fence. James Clark helping

Sat Apr 20 th high wind from the North and cold snow in the after noon. I was clean -ing barley for Dick

Sun Apr 21 st a cloudy wet day. about an inch of snow on the ground this morning

Mon Apr 22 and cloudy and moderate was split -ting wood in the fore noon. after noon repairing chicken fence

Tue Apr 23 rd cloudy most of the day and warm. was diging the garden part of the day

Wed Apr 24 th a foggy morning the rest of the day cloudy and moderate. I was diging in the garden and uncoveing potatoe pets

Thu Apr 25 th clear and warm. I went to see Aunt Eliza in the fore noon after noon, was helping Walter wih with his fene

Fri Apr 26 th clear and warm. I was helping Walter

Sat Apr 27 th clear and warm. I was takeing pota - _toes out of the pit

Sun Apr 28 th clear and hot.
