7th of Sept 1900 East Wind very high Leander went to Mill with Wheat Bought 2 Tubs Fine Day for the Fair in Cornwall to Day all of us from Mr Halls went to the Fair Good Races to Day and a variety of very good vegtables and all other articles Poultry cattle Farming implements all things Looked splendid the Races were Good Dan McDonald got the Best of the Races I have had a Glorious Time in Cornwall along with my nephews and Neices and all other convenience any one could desire

8th very Fine Foggy this Morning Built a Stack of Marsh Hay and put a Lot of Hay on the Last year stack Mowing in Back Marsh Fernandez to Lancaster Cornwall a pair of Boots for Ionia got Ready in Cornwall to come Down on the Grenada John and I went to the Likenefs Man and got a sample of myself John Paid for all even when I went to pay Captain Smallman he told me it was already Paid seen Mr Prims on the Boat Seen Mr Long in St Regis Stopt at Stanley Island as Livinia and Minnie was there Sissy had 20 Doz of Eggs crofsed to Summerstown got the Mail called to see Mrs Hamilton and as John and I were Talking that Dizzinefs came on me But it was not very Bad took supper there and Gave me a Glass of very good stuff got the Direction of Private Thomas Moncure 7316 No 4 /by Scoggs Bottom Camp Aldershot England got Home

9th Sunday Leander to church Fine E Wind George and Ann and 2 children came John H here Fernandez to night church

10th Fine E Wind Cutting Marsh hay Front Marsh cut some cornstalks Ed Renshaw here George and Ionia Fishing Got a Potato Masher

11th of September 1900 Raining Fernandez crofsed for to go to Alexandria tomorrow Leander crofsed heard one of the Adams Departed up the Front Mr Curry Poorly

12th The Great Conservative Meeting at Alexandria to Day Fernandez went Rained in the Morning Took in some corn Husking to night George here cool high Wind Got a Sturgeon

13th Fine Day George went off got a Sturgeon cutting cornstalks taking in corn Husking Lots of Boats going to Day Making coils in the Front Marsh Leander to Jo Douquetts with a Tub of Butter and 8 Doz of Eggs husking corn to night

14th Fine Day Windy Fernandez went to Lancaster with part of the Mill to get Fixed Lucias for corn for their Ducks or Decoy Decoy Live Ducks 15 cents got Tar paper and some Boards for the Floor

15th Fine Day Making a stack of Marsh hay out of the Front and Back Marsh at the East End of the stable Fernandez clabording the Front of the Kitchen George came East Wind Last Quarter of the Moon Rained to night Thunder and Lightning to night Fernandez to Summerstown stopt all night

16th some Rain Leander to church Fine George and Annie and the children went off Windy not very Well Lucias for Potatoes 15 cents

17th St Lamberts Day Fine some Wind Adelaide Minnie and Eddy came stopt to night a Heavy Blow of of a Gust or 2 of East or North Wind taken in corn to husk cutting some stalks went around the Lower Point Working some at the House a Lot of Boats a Going to Day Rained some to night Ed Grinding his scythe not very well

18th Fine Eddy and Stanley went to Mow Marsh Hay Adelaide Minie stopt an Indian for Butter Fernandez crofsed

19th a very Fine Day Minnie went home Lucias for Butter Ionia and I Fishing Sissy went to Stop for a Day or 2 with Adeliade 1 lb of Tea
