14th Fine cool West Wind Working over at the Building got Rat and a Leg Fernandez crofsed took 2 Loons Boxed up to send to Montreal to Be stuffed Stanley Fixing a place for the 2 Rams as the calves has their Place Lots of Boats went to Day the Ground covered with snow not much shooting to Day Froze Last or to night

15th Fine Cool got 2 Scottish Americans From Dan Fixing around the House put the Milk in the Pantry out of the cellar West Wind

16th Fine cool W Wind Plastering stables Freezing to Day and to night putting some Straw out of the Barn Salmon River Froze

17th Fine Day E Wind Stanley Plastering Cow Stable Randolph here Eddy here Shot 10 Ducks out in the Blind no Boat out of Salmon River to Day Seen a Crane Wind changed to West this Evening

18th Sunday Leander came Down from Jos hunting with Mr Malby hunting not very good

19th Began taken the things over to the New House Raining snowing Blowing a Blustery ugly time to move got there after Dark which is not a good Omen

23rd Fine Big Wind Last night Went around the Island Found a Bun or Punt Took over the Lime to the other House Measured 10 Bushels of Wheat to go to Mill a Rout about the Satchel they took it out of the Room and hid it on their Mother Water high took a Jar of Randolph to Dundee for oil had Randolphs Boat some Trees and Limbs Down with the Wind
