19th of April 1901 Primrose Day Fine Eddy here took a can of Syrup Sawing Stove Wood Rained to Day and to night Fernandez came with his Wheel Set the net Windy

20th Windy Rain Sawing Stove-wood cold to Day the Grenada came out to Day on her First Trip Raining hard every night E Wind

21st Sunday Rained E Wind Leander crofsed this Evening a calf to night Rained again to night

22nd Fine Day Windy cool Stanley went to Dundee 1 cowhide 1 calfskin 1 Fox 3 Rats Sawing and cutting stove Wood at the Door Gathered 9 pails of Sap the Chaffe came into Lancaster this Evening Rain Stanley did not come to night

23rd St George's Day The Festival of the English Rained some Boiling sap East Wind

24th Unfortunate Day Made about 2 Gallons I think this is the Last Let the cows out to Pasture E Wind Randolph here Stanley and George came Sold his Fur Fox 1 Dollar Rats 15 cents a Peice Bought Outing 8 cents a yard Went over to the old House Rained every Day Since the New Moon came in Wrote a Letter to Allen W Ward Box 748 Avon Liv.Co. N.Y Began to Thrash about 1 o clock Oats Bought a Hat

25th St Marks Day Unfortunate Day First Quarter of the Moon Rained this Morning the Way the weather is to Day it will be so for Forty Days so some Folks say all Superstition E Wind Thrashing very Fine Day some Windy Took away the Buckets yesterday Sap runs well to Day My Head very Dizzy to Day and Last night Went up to the camp at 12 o clock 1 of the Sheep a Lamb and we took it in the House another had a Lamb at the upper Point after Supper Thrashed 50 Bushel

26th East Wind cool Fine Day Eddy here put Shoes on the Mare Finished the Thrashing this afternoon James Creamers B Day Indians here with Baskets Bought 4 from them the Woman is one of the Fridays about 100 or More Bushels Leander crofsed Bought 1/2 lb Tea

27th a very Fine Day E Wind George and Stanley went of took 2 Bags of Oats 2 Baskets for the children first Steamer went Down with a Raft the PUt the Mill in the old House Got coal oil new Round Dish 1 {illegible} Rival Took home Sugar Bush pans
