Sunday, March 19, 1922 We all went in to Chatham and had dinner at Mary Murphy’s. Charlie and Jess went that afternoon going to Rondeau and visited her till after dinner. The wind and day disagreeable all day. We came back on the 6:54.

Monday, March 20, 1922 Went over the road on the mail car and started the mail again to the Mitchell’s Bay and round trip back. In the a.m. left fine but after we started the trip the wind blew north by east very strong and quite cool. Fine going to the Bay and Club but very rough on the shore. Mail in all went good considering the first day. Fair in the a.m. cloudy and windy in the p.m. Roads were bad but not sticky.
