Wednesday, March 22, 1922 I delivered mail to the Bay and round the shoreline and then delivered on the Club run with Alf, Lloyd, and George with the front half of the sleigh. After dinner that week’s pay to H.W.C. Gordon and got $7.50 for one day’s mail at $7.50. The day was fair but the roads were bad and there turned with snow in some places.

Thursday, March 23, 1922 I delivered to the Bay and round the shoreline and then delivered on the Club run with Alf and Cal’s sleigh. After coming home, thaw prevailed rapidly in the early part and I helped Lloyd with hay. The day was fine but the roads were very bad.

Wednesday, May 31, 1922 First worked at putting a new crosspiece in the sleigh for the mail box. Weather still started to fair after fine, being about 73° high at 38°–85° low. Was warm and fair.
