the cellar to get enough. I put the tops on them after dinner and labeled them ready to ship. I had intended going over home to get the waggon and take them down but as it was late and was beginning to snow and I have got a cold Marj. wouldn't let me go.

Wednesday December 9th

I drove over home this morning and nearly froze. The wind was very cold and the roads very rough. Frank was home alone as Dad. & Enah hasd gone down town. I thought when I got over there that the roqads & weather were too bad to take the apples down but Frank said he would come over woth the waggon the first decent day.I went on down to Aunty'sto tell them that I wouls not be down to the Band boys' shone to-night as my cokd was too abd. Aunty Alice made me two piews to taskw to it so gave me one. I got home a little after noon I didn't do much but sit around this afternoon. Ina was here wbut walke dhome before supper. Very vold and bleak. Intervals of sunshine floowed by snow flurries.
