the cellar to get enough. I put the tops on them after dinner and labeled them ready to ship. I had intended going over home to get the waggon and take them down but as it was late and was beginning to snow and I have got a cold Marj. wouldn't let me go.

Wednesday December 9th

I drove over home this morning and nearly froze. The wind was very cold and the roads very rough. Frank was home alone as Dad. & Enah had gone down town. I thought when I got over there that the roads & weather were too bad to take the apples down but Frank said he would come over with the waggon the first decent day. I went on down to Aunty's to tell them that I would not be down to the Band boys' shine to-night as my cold was too bad. Aunty Alice made me two pies to take to it so gave me one. I got home a little after noon I didn't do much but sit around this afternoon. Ina was here but walked home before supper. Very cold and bleak. Intervals of sunshine followed by snow flurries.

Thursday December 10th

I didn't do any thing much but chores to-day as I felt tough with a cold. My chest is sore with coughing I went down to the corner this after noon and got the cream
