Saturday January 9th

It snowed all night by the looks of things for this kroning every thing was covered not only outsdoors but in the porch & barn ansd where ever the east wind could penetrate. It snowed most of the morning but hasn;t been a bad day. I thought going down to Archie Long's farm to look at some cheap hay he has stacked but as it snowed so much I didn't go. I spent the fore noon doing ofdd jonbs and sweeping apths, and Marj. wash some flannels which is a terribly pareticular job, and requires a vast ammunt of knowledge & experience.
