Tuesday February 2nd
I spent most of the morning cleaning out the porch. It was full of snow from Sunday night's storm and I had to move every thing to get the snow out so I moved some of the stuff away altogether consequently it is now much tidier and roomier. I also cut the boards for another shutter and put them in place but didn't nail them together. The porch is now all closed in except the east side and it is the smallest opening. This after noon I drove down town and got a bag of wheat at Billy Laings. I took Harry B. with me and left him at the farm while I went on down town. Dad. feels very miserable. Ina was here all day and I drove her home when I got back from town. Milder
