Thursday February 11th

Marj. has had to stay in bed all day to-day so I have had to be in the house. I pulled the couch around near the stove and Marj. has been lying on it all day and she slept on it to-night. Harry Blake was in this morning on his annual assessing business. To-night just before tea I went up to Shand's and telephoned Huby and asked him to let them know at Auntys that we wouldn't be down for dinner to-morrow, as they were expecting us Froze the pump in the kitchen again last night. Sunny.

Friday February 12th

I chored around outside & in the house this forenoon. Marj. lay on the couch till after dinner and then got up. She feels very weak though. This after noon Gay and I drove down town and I went to the dentist's again and he changed the filling in the teeth he is treating. I left Gay at Auntie's and she & Harry B. had a great play together and were delighted to see each other. Harry B was quite willing to stay down longer though, so I left him as it is much easier for Marj. when he is not here. Aunty Alice gave me a fine roast of beef as we were not able to get down to dinner. We drove around to see Dad. who still feels tough. Sunny & much milder.
