Friday March 12th

I had to chase around this morning and get sme rails cut up for the kitchen fire although I sdidmanage to scrape up two mpail of coal. We let the kitchen fore out last night and it was one of the coldest nights we have had dropping to below zero and freezing the pump in the kitchen. It was nearly 11.20 by the time I got over home and by the time Frank and I got Queen & old Charlie hooked to the ewaggon and down town it was noon, so we put the horses oin the barm of Auntire's and had dinne rthere and then Quint went with Frank down to the lake andd got me 1200 of soft coal. I went up to the dentists right after dinner and got some mor eof my teeth cleaned and then Frabk and i cam eout here with the coal and Frank took the team back alone.
