Northern Lights were so bright that it was almost as light out as bright moon light except that there were no shadows. Freezing very hard.

Thursday April 15th

It was cold this morning but broght and as Marj. wanted some paint & stuff for the house and I wanted to go over and take some oats to the mill we went to town. Marj. stayed at Aunty's for dinner bit I wernt over to the farm. Frank had just left with hi splough & tractor to do some ploughing for Jones up at the Halfway House and dad. & I didn't get the oats bagged up before dinner, so by the time we got them bagged up after dinner and I got down to the mill with them I decided it would be too late for me to wait for them and take them home so I went back & pout the yteam in and went down after Marj. She wasstill up town when I got there. Aunty Alice is sick enough to be in bed but won't ease up much on her activities. We brought Gay home with us. As whoever hauled the cream yesterday fau=iled to collect our can I went over to-night and asked Mrs. Lampkin if i could take it
