Quint came back to get me and I went down & interviewed him I didn't know what to do about it but he said thrre was a long article in a Hamilton paper so that if they are going to print it anyway they might as well ahve the facts. It was Capt. Ralph Smith and he was very decent. After he left Frank and I shook out aldfalfa till chore time. It is soaked through and just about ruined. I went ot bed right after tea and after taking a hot drink in an endeavour to break up a cold which I feel coming on. Frank went dfown to PickfordsFine and quite warm, wind still in the west.
