Tune Abbey Lloyd 119 Psalm

1 a How bright these glorious spirits shine

Whence all there bright array

How came they to the blissful seats

Of everlasting day

2 Lo these are they form suffering great

Who came to relems of fight

And in the blood of christ have washed

Thare robes which shine so bright

3 His presents fills each hert with Joy

Tunes every voice to sing

By day by night the sacred courts

While glad Hosannas ring

Hungry and thurst after no more

Nor suns with schorching ray

God is there sun whose cheering beems

Diffused etarnal day

When snows desend and robe the fields

In winter s bright array

Touched by thy sun the luster fades

And weepps itself away

When spring appears when vilants blow

And sheds a rich perfume

How soon thy fragrance breathes its last

How short lived is the bloom

Fresh in the morn the sumer rose

Hangs with ring ere tis noon

We scarce envy the balmy gift

But mourn the plesure gon

With gilding fire an evening stare

Streaks the Atumnal skies

Shook from the atumal it darts away

And in an instant dies
