day gloomy and overcast,took the bugbuggy today for first time-sleighing gone altogether on the fences

weather still cold and raw.mail crossed by boat today, in at the head of the island.

Wednesday April 16th milder,north wind, and snow in the afternoon, walked over the farm back to the base line,and enjoyed the walk altogether
