June 6..-pm.- Cleaned the small cupboard. & mama finished painting wood-work to-day. finished planting corn yesterday. Heavy thunder showers this Eve.

June 7.-Sat.- took a lesson at Annie's this morn. Busy, "Cold"

June 8.-Sun.- Elise & children were here for dinner as Hyme went to New Dublim to his Uncle Juo. Orr's funeral. S.S & church this p.m. then I rode down to St. Georges with Annie & Howard this Eve. "Katie Elizabeth" Barton was christened at St. George's. Very cold.

June 9,-Mon.- Washed, received my parcel from Eaton's Mrs.H.Lockwood was here this p.m. I went to the post office this Eve.

June 10- Tues.- Mama went to B- with Sarah this morn. Ironed.

June 11- Wed.- Papered front part of the Telchern to-day. Practised on Mrs. Dalton's piano this Eve. Meeting at the church to-night to arrange for social. but nothing decided as yet.

June 12,- Thur,- Practised at Mr. Dalton's this morn. Papered this p.m. Was up to Mr. Walker's this Eve. Hillyard +wife+baby+Nattie arrived 1 sec. p.m.

June 13.-Fri.- finished papering-the kitchen at noon. practised at Mrs. Dalton's this p.m.
