7 Cloudy and cool. Rev J. C Slater preached in the A.M. and pa preached at night. We had a very good time

8 Plowing in the back field for to sow rye. It is a nice day. P.M. Margaret up to see the Dr. today.

10 Finished plowing in the forenoon and sowed rye in the afternoon. Pa took Mary out to Toledo to see Dr Cornell.

11 Rachel Fergusons funeral takes place at 11 A.M. Finished harrowing in the rye in the AM. I didn't go to the funeral J. Rose
