Friday Beautiful day. Over at John Streets helping put the roof on his house. There was a great deal of damage done by the wind yesterday. The wind blew down a lot of trees in our woods

6 Pleasant day. I was looking along the creek for cedar to make shingles. Charlotte went down to Mr Ballantines in the afternoon and Agnes came home with her and staid for tea. I went up to Joe Edwards and paid him $10.80 cents for 8 1/3 bushels of wheat at $180 per bush

Dec 1st 1893

Sunday Beautiful day Rev Mr Slater preached. The S.School was large today

8 Henry and I went down back of Mr Ballentine's on the drownded land and got some cedar to make shingles after that Henry went out to Unionville to see about a school. Pa and I made and put on about 150 shingles.

9 Soft day but pleasant. Made about 175 shingles and finished shingling the stable. Went to the station for Henry he did not succeed. I got a letter from Albert. The roads are quite muddy after having a foot of snow. F Rose
