JANUARY, TUESDAY 1, 1867

New Years day Weather most delightful. Sleighing tolerable. Took dinner at John Scott's. Jasper Clara and I. Mr & Mrs Fowler and Mr & Mrs Beamer there. A good dinner and pleasant visit although the party was not a very brilliant one.


WEDNESDAY 2,

{L G written at top} A fine winter's day, clear but very cold. Went to Brantford took Dora with us. Went with the buggy. took dinner at Mr Snider's. Attended a children's tea meeting in the Baptist Chapel in the afternoon. And a Concert in the evening. A great may children present. Thy sang with all their might.
