OCTOBER, TUESDAY 22, 1867.

Cooler but very pleasant. Washing day. Sewed till 11 'oclock. not so tired as usual. Dora came home at noon to pick up potatoes for her Pa. "Commercial Bank" failed.

WEDNESDAY 23,

Much cooler but bright & clear. Ironing - day. fixing winter caps for the children. Pa went to Woodstock Must go to bed.
