Fri Jan 24. Fine bright warm day, Aunt Mattie called at Mrs Whites. Annie and Lizzie here, the Thrashers came.

Sat Jan 25. A beautiful mild day, Thrashing untill about four o'clock, Mr and Mrs Farrell came.

Sun Jan 26, Fine and very mild. Uncle took Mr Farrells to Mr Osters. muddy and dirty.

Mon Jan 27, Fine and mild. Thrashers cutting feed. finished about eleven for dinner. then went for Willies.

Tue Jan 28. Fine and much colder. Willies are thrashing Aunt Mattie helping Mary.

Wed Jan 29. Fine with east wind then turned milder. Willies finished thrashing at noon.

Thur Jan 30. Fine and very mild. I called at Marys in the afternoon. Uncle and Aunt Mattie at Mr Joe Bales for tea. mild like spring. We are getting seven eggs.

Fri Jan 31. Rained heavily until noon then cleared and colder by night.

Sat Feb 1, Very cold with a cold, N.W. wind. Uncle and Aunt Mattie at Thornhill with butter and eggs.

Sun Feb 2, Very cold west wind, bear could see its shadow. Uncle, Aunt Nellie and I at church light the coal feeder.

Mon Feb 3 Fine and milder, We did not wash and churn. Uncle and Auntie at Thornhill helping at hall
