Sun Apr 27. Raining in the morning so did not go to church. I went to Willies in the afternoon. Uncle and I at Mr Littles in the evening, it rained heavily through the night. Surplice Choir.

Mon Apr 28. Fine and cool. no seeding. Willie came and helped take Range out. Uncle and Aunt Mattie at Thornhill in the eve.

Tue Apr 29. Fine and cool. varnished Oil cloth.

Wed Apr 30. Fine day, and cool. Auntie over at Mr Bowes for eggs. yesterday. We called at Mr Wiltshires Auntie and I called at Mrs Clarkes

Thur May 1. A fine warm day. the growth is very forward. Ida Clarke here for tea. 14 chicks first hen.

Fri May 2. Fine day very, very warm. I took clock to Richmond Hill. Auntie at Gardeners. I put on summer Underwear. Sitting out on Verandah.

Sat May 3. Fine and very warm. Sitting out. out bare-headed and without coat

Sun May 4. Fine and warm. dusty. Uncle and I at Church. Willies here for tea. Mr Bales. called in the evening. {written above line in pencil} "sitting out afternoon eve" Plumb and Pear blossom out.

Mon May 5. Fine and warm. trees are out in full leaf. everything has great growth. very dusty.

Tue May 6. Fine and turned cooler. I went to Richmond hill in eve for clock and watch.

Wed May 7. Fine and very cool. strong west wind. put Meat away.
