Thur Jan 1. New Years Day. fine but cold. Willies family also mother and Annie here to spend the day. Eddie Clark cleaning Barley.

Fri Jan 2. Fine day and bright. East wind. I went to Mrs Osler funeral.

Sat Jan 3. An East snow storm not very cold. W ____ $10.

Sun Jan 4. Sleighing fairly good. fine and moderately cold. Mrs Clarke took me for a drive to Thornhill. Marjorie here and stayed all night.

Mon Jan 5. Fine bright day, Mick and Aunt Nellie at Thornhill. Mr and Mrs Breaky called.

Tue Jan 6. Fine but windy. Willes are thrashing. Aunt Nellie at Willies.

Wed Jan 7. Fine and very mild all day, Willies finished at noon. I was over helping Mary. Mr and Mrs Hiram {keffler?} here for the evening.

Thur Jan 8. Fine and mild. foggy. I called to see Mr Lyons.

Fri Jan 9. Fine mild day but foggy. Our pump broken snowed at night. Eddie Clarke took a load of Barley to Woodbridge.

Sat Jan 10. Fine day and colder. {illegible} here and fixed pump. Eddie Clarke here cleaning up.

Sun Jan 11. Fine but a cold west wind. good sleighing. Annie here for tea. Snowed all night.

Mon Jan 12. Rather stormy, drifting and very cold. Willie called in the morning.
