Sun Jan 25. Fine and cold. I went to Concord Church. I called at Mrs Littles in afternoon.

Mon Jan 26. Fine and moderately cold, snowed last night Mr Morgan and Mrs Welsh called. also Dr. Campbell, Nelson and Mrs Smellie here in the evening splendid sleighing.

Tue Jan 27. Fine and very mild, washed and cooked Hams, George and {Jermie?} Crok, aslo Mr and Mrs Cain called.

Wed Jan 28. Fine and very mild and foggy, Willian Murphy here.

Thur Jan 29. Fine and very mild roads getting here and icy. Thomas {illegible} and Annie here. Mr and Mrs Breaky called. Mick and Aunt Nellie at Thornhill in morn.

Fri Jan 30. Fine and a little colder, very icy, William cleaning {harness?}.

Sat Jan 31. Very stormy East wind with sleet then snow.

Sun Feb 1. Strong west wind. David Smellie here. I called at Mrs Clarkes. our lane pretty full.

Mon Feb 2. Fine and moderately cold, I called at Mr Wiltshires.

Tue Feb 3. Fine and moderately cold. Willie here. We are baking for the sale. the lane only needed little digging.

Wed Feb 4. Fine day. men getting things out for sale.

Thur Feb 5. East wind but fine bright day and only moderately cold.

Sale. hens - 20 at 86 = 17.20
