Fri Jan 1.15 New Years Day- Fine bright day. quite cold and gord sleighing Willis family, also. Mother and Annie here. I went to New Years {illegible} a little stormy in the eve.

Sat Jan 2. Fine at first then a very high wind, blowing snow. I went as far as the Rink in the evening.

Sun Jan 3. Fine bright day but cold. Aunt Nellie at Church. I went in the evening. Mrs Riddell died.

Mon Jan 4. Fine bright day. We called at Lydia Wilsons. Mrs {Orr?} here for tea.

Tue Jan 5. Fine day and much milder. Aunt Nellie and I called at Mrs McLeans. I went for a drive with Mrs Clarke and W. Mother and Annie called.

Wed Jan 6. Mild and foggy. Annie and I at Mrs Riddells funeral. rained heavily in eve, and through the night. Ida Clarke here for tea.

Thur Jan 7. A very high wind and turning colder. Willies did not butcher on account of it. Mary Watson called. Mr and Mrs Little called. The gus a little troublesome.

Fri Jan 8. Fine day. moderately cold. roads slippery. Willies called at door. Aunt Nellie at Mothers. Fanny Smith and Maggie Charlton called.

Sat Jan 9. Fine bright day, I went to the Rink in the eve.

Sun Jan 10. Fine day. moderately cold. Aunt Nellie at morning Church. I went in the eve. {Nick?} here for tea. Annie called.

Mon Jan 11. Very mild. Aunt Mattie and I called on Mrs Davidson.

Tue Jan 12. Fine and moderately cold. Annie and I went to the butchering at Willies. One hen laying.
