Sat Apr 24. Fine and very, very warm. M. Watson and I went for a walk and got Cedar trees. Aunt Mattie and I walked up to A. Persons in eve.

Sun Apr 25, Fine but extremely warm. Aunt Nellie at church. Sitting on Verandah Wille and Mary called in afternoon also Annie Range out. a terrific storm started at six O'clock. {Range out.}

Mon Apr 26. Fine but very warm. Aunt Nellie walked to {In betwwen the two lines: Summer clothes fall on.} Willies. I went to Aunt Nancys, funeral. Service at night O'clock washed Blankets.

Tue Apr 27. Extremely warm. then a terrific rain and storm in afternoon. "heat. 84" Willie here {In margin it says: Cut lawn} for tea on the way from Aunt Nancys funeral. Mrs Davidson and H. {Weltehire?} here when storm was bad. I went for a setting of eggs to Bowes. in eve. Setting out on ver.

Wed Apr 28. Fairly warm but luke rain. painted back steps and platform. regular summer heat.

Thur Apr 29. Fine but turning very much colder. Blossom out and some fruit trees. Aunt Mattie and I out for a wlak in afternoon. Set two hens. put up {verandah?} curtains.

Fri Apr 30. Dull and cool. bright a little fire in range Mrs Blarke and William called,

Sat May 1. May Day. Dull and very cool. Charlie Grant and Herbie here for the afternoon. F. Teasdales called at the door with Lilac root.
