Sunday Aug 1. Very warm and looked like rain. Aunt Nellie Marjorie and I at church. Aunt Nellie and I at evening church. Marjorie went home.

Mon Aug 2. Fine with dull east wind. ("Civic Holiday")

Tue Aug 3. Rained heavily most of the day. a terific east wind {the word "letter" is written between the lines and is underlined} and the worst storms for some time on the water boats forced to the {Illegible}. grain and corn badly down.

Wed Aug 4. Rained gently in the morning then came a dense fog, and very damp. east mist. Lizzie called. I was at Mother's in the evening.

Thurs Aug 5. Fine after the fog cleared at noon. but not drying very much

Fri Aug 6. Dull and damp all day. heavy showers in the evening I went to roll bandages.

Sat Aug 7. A nice day with just a little shower at noon. Aunt Mattie and I in Toronto. called and Lizzie Look we all through the general hospital (What {Illegible})

Sun Aug 8. Raining all forenoon and a few showers in the afternoon. Aunt Nellie at eve- church. I turned back as it looked like another storm.

Mon Aug 9. Fine with just a {Illegible} at noon. we washed.

Tue Aug 10. Fine and cool. Mother and I- here in eve. Auntie at R.{Illegible}. meeting

Wed Aug 11. Fine but very warm. I went to Weston. Came home about five o'clock. Aunties at grave-yard in eve
