Thur Aug 12. Rained nearly all day. foggy in the evening

Fri Aug 13. Fine but very {Illegible} and cloudy. I went to bandages rolling at Miss {Illegible}. Aunt Mattie and I called at Mrs. Breakeys and Mrs. Deamel in eve.

Sat Aug 14. Fine but cloudy everything very wet and farmers have very little done the last two weeks.

Sun Aug 15. Rained very heavily in the afternoon also a heavy rain last night. Aunt Nellie at church we both went in the evening.

Mon Aug 16. Fine with {Illegible} of a couple little showers heavy rain and thunder north of here. turn cool.

Tue Aug 17. Very Cool north wind and guide clear and bright a complete change. Charlie came for Aunties and mother, a vessel {Illegible} a few days ago with soldiers

Wed Aug 18. Fine and cool Marjorie called. Ida Clarke here for {first chicken is written where the date normally is}teal. Lizzie called in the evening. {Illegible} Smellies here eve.

Thurs Aug 19. Fine bright day and cool. Aunt Nellie called at Mrs. Laugstaffs but she was not home. Aunt Mattie and I called at Miss Edeys. and she came with apples in eve.

Fri Aug 20. Fine and a little warmer. At bandages rolling in eve.

Sat Aug 21. Showery during the day. I called at mothers in the evening. damp and foggy. rained nearly all night

Sun Aug 22. Dull and Showery until afternoon it cleared. Aunt Nellie at morning church. Mrs. {Illegible} and son here for tea. Nick here in eve. Aunt Nellie and I at church
