Mon Aug 23. Fine but threatening. we washed. Grant here. Aunt mattie and I at mothers in the evening.

Tue Aug 24. Fair in the morning. then a little shower which stopped harvesting Charlie and Grant here for dinner. Aunt nellie at R.J. meeting

Wed Aug 25. Fine and very cold wind. washed our bed cover Lizzie and {Illegible} Bowes called in the afternoon!

Thur Aug 26 Fine and cold wind. but bright. I went to Willies in the evening. they are cutting oaks grain all that and in a dreadful condition to cut. 69 acres to haul in.

Fri Aug 27. Fine and cool. White frost. I was at Bandages rolling. and at the pink in the eve. helping to dry up. Aunt Nellie went to Toronto to get teeth fried as she broke them.

Sat Aug 28. Fine and cool until evening it started to rain Horticultural and Red Gross tea

Sun Aug 29. Dull and showery then cleaned a little in eve. Aunt Nellie at evening church. Aunt Mattie and I at Methodist Church opening. Mrs. Clarke and William called in afternoon

Mon Aug 30. Fine but cold wind. I called at Miss Mundeys

Tues Aug 31. Fine and brighter. Aunt Mattie and I at Willies back field. they are cutting with mowers and having a dreadul time! very cold.
