Mon Aug 27. Rained throught the night to wet to harvest. very cold. I went to Mrs. Teadales for tea. Aunt Mattie came in the evening. Opening of Exhibition.

Tue Aug 28. Fine and still cool. Frank Johnson took our chickens 10 cts a lb. 75 lbs (28 in all). Mick thrashing at Mrs Maritnes. Uncle over at Hillies.

Wed Aug 29. Fine and very cool. men thrashing at Mr Phillips. all day. Uncle and Auntie went for a little drive in the evening. Nellie in Toronto.

Thur Aug 30. Fine and cool. men over at Nellis'

Fri Aug 31. Fine and cool. Finished grains at Nellis. I walked out to Thornhill in the afternoon.

Sat Sept 1. Fine and cool. Men all here. Sam left at noon. John Troyer here for dinner. Liggie and Annie Mason here for tea. Finished grain. Made catsup.

Sun Sept 2. Rained in the afternoon. Uncle and Aunt mattie at mrs Gallanough's funeral. I went to Fisherville. It is very. very warm. Uncle and Nellie at our Ch.

Mon Sept 3. Fine and cool. Auntie and I up at Mary's in the evening. but she was not at home.

Wed Sept 5. Fine day. Aunties at the Exhibition. beautiful day. our men ouver hauling peas and raking at Hillies. Annie here for tea. Apollos left.
